The majority of our Meyer trouser collection is available in UK sizes (Waist and Leg measured in Inches) while some of our ranges are available in both UK and German sizes, with both having distinct features to help you get the perfect fit.

The German trouser sizing system is a little different to the UK waist/leg in inches system and by offering Meyer trousers available in both size systems, we can find the perfect fitting pair of trousers for you,
Trousers, shorts and M5 Jeans on our site showing waist and leg measurements only (e.g. “W36 L32”) are UK sized trousers and you should pick your usual size. Use the “UK Trouser and M5 Jean Sizes” size chart below for accurate measurements.

All M5 jeans are sized using standard UK inch sizing.
To determine your size, follow the instructions below to get started.
1. Measure the waistband
First, measure the waistband of an existing pair of trousers. The easiest way to do this, is to lay the trousers flat on a table, with the top button closed. Use a measuring tape or ruler to measure from edge to edge of the waistband with a slight tension while you measure it. Multiply the number by 2 to determine your waist size.
2. Measure the inside leg
Second, measure the inside leg of an existing pair. To do this, with the trousers lay flat on a table measure the entire inside seam from the crotch to the end of the trouser leg, again with a slight tension to the trousers while you measure them.
Meyer Shorts and Bermuda Sizing
Meyer shorts are available in two leg lengths to ensure you get the perfect fit. Their regular leg length shorts are perfect for all short, regular and long legs. While their shorter shorts are 2 inches shorter, perfect if you would usually buy a short leg trouser and/or prefer a slightly shorter short.
